BIOtech Now continues our tour of the state of biotech state-by-state with a video interview of Russell Allen, President & CEO of BioFlorida. He gives a tour of Florida’s vibrant biotech sector. He also discusses Florida’s strategy of investing approximately $1 billion in recent years to develop Florida life sciences. A key focus is to attract leading non-profit research institutes to the state to provide a strong foundation for further growth.
BioFlorida is managing Florida Pavilion to showcase Florida biotech companies at the 2009 BIO International Convention in Atlanta, May 17-19.
